  4. doo doo be happy what you get or open a own page and post whatever sets you like there…. ktnxbye

  5. boring set from luke, seems to be he is still stucked in that funky house sound… where is the evolution on his sound?

  6. LOL “stuck” in that sound??? You have got to be kidding me!

Do you have any idea how hard it is to find the sort of stuff that Luke plays these days? I for one, am happy he’s one of the few DJs along with guys like Fred Everything that still plays funky, soulful house and does it well.

  7. Ye i have to agree with you there woscar, im happy that some djs still play funky house 🙂

  8. Awesome set from Luke, never fails always delivers

  9. well just back from a wicked party at wmc…
wascasr or whatever your name, with your comments only show your limited culture and knowledge about music, i have been in the scene since you were using diapers and luke fair electro funky house sounds pretty dated, there is absolutely quality funky out there played by class german djs, btw im glad its vinyl only, anyways as a dj you must keep pushing your sound to the boundaries, sorry but this blog is electro house crappy followers where is the soul on this cheap predictable software produced music?

  10. Can you give me the names of some of these German DJs please Vitali. I don’t want to get into the politics here. I just want to hear what they play. Cheers.

  17. TO HANSEN OR HANSON Are you a mixer? Do you download music and after you also mix it? If you do, can you get an straight lineal delicate sound like the one in this luke fair’s set? Any way, please tell me wich german djs use to mix like this. Is it Paul Van Dyke? No eh…
I cannot imagine, German and funk? mmmm But, maybe you’re right. Please if you know a more delicate sound than this, tell me, i’ve been looking for more but i couldn’t find it yet.
Something else, do you think this is comercial? jajaja
    Take care, man or lady..

LUKE< YOUR BEATS CAN”T BE BEATEN!!!

  18. hansen you should go to see him at live, best and more consistent funk dj around

  19. Vitali what the hell are you on about? I don’t hear one track in this mix that is even remotely similar to Electro House. Also, telling people they’re out of touch with music, and not even giving one example of a ‘superior’ DJ except for saying ‘German DJ’s’, makes you look like a pompous idiot. The only DJ’s right now that are coming out of Germany that are really catching my ear are guys like Marcel Dettmann & Ben Klock (Berghain Residencies), they’re of the Techno variety though, so an apples to oranges comparison of the Funky House side with the likes of Luke Fair and others. Anyways, I’ll leave it at that. I’ve already fed the troll enough.

  20. This is easy, my friends. there’s allways a common sence to separate bad music from good music. I’m listening to Luke Fair’s music for 5 years now and the nicest thing about this guy is that he’s not doing the same over and over again. i recomend everyone of you to download and listen the FBI radio set, i think is from 2006. that set is perfect from the begining till the end. Please, check it out an you’ll se guys. Besides of that, his sound is allways delicate with a few nice bombs, allways like that. Call it house, electro, minimal, techno, whatever… i don’t know another dj doing this kind of sound. At the end, it’s all about your self perception and taste for music. For example, for me the greatest band ever is PINK FLOYD, but maybe The rolling stones has more fans. Get the point?
Let’s be honest, it’s this sound or the trance bullshit..

    YOUR BEATS CAN”T BE BEATEN>

  21. Vitali if you have been on the scene that long, i would imagine you to be a little more musically intelligent and not come out with stupid comment like that.
I hold nothing against sharing your opinion but you have just come off sounding a soft know-it-all tw@ that knows very little.
Also to start the comment off with..
`well just back from a wicked party at wmc…`
Is this to state that you know your shit because you just got back from the wmc? and this is y u must be right in what you say?
If i had seen u at the wmc i would of farted on my fist and punched you in the mouth!! you pompous BELLEND!!
